They look good too. George Clooney is very much the leading man that everyone wants him to be movies and I have a feeling that he's going to do a good job in this one.

The American - Poster, Trailer And Update!

With September 1st getting closer by the day there is a little more coming to light with regards to The American.

I've found a new poster and while I had to blow it up a little bit, it still looks good.

There's also a 2nd, shorter trailer that has been released, and while it's mostly the same shots as the first one, there are few new quick glimpses.

Take a look at the new trailer and see if you can spot the differences.

The American - Trailer!

The American is getting closer to release… and now we’ve seen the trailer.

George Clooney just keeps looking better the older he gets. (I hope I’m that lucky)

And the movie doesn’t look half bad either. It is a thriller, but it looks like there is going to be some good story and character development as well.

I like.

The American hits theaters September 1, 2010.

Clooney Brings The American To Italy

George Clooney is back baby.

In The American, Clooney will play an assassin named Jack who has decided that it’s time to get out of the game. However, there’s one last hit that has to be done before he can pack up and walk away.

This takes us to the Italian countryside and a small town where Jack has time to think and relate to the locals. He even goes as far as to reach out and start a friendship with a local priest (Paolo Bonacelli) and takes a shot at romance with a local woman named Clara (Violante Placido).

The American is based on the 1990 Martin Booth novel, A Very Private Gentleman and comes to theatres September 1, 2010.
